These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ocufolio platform provided by Ocufolio, Inc. ("Ocufolio", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ocufolio.

1. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Your username must use URL-safe characters only and may not impersonate others or use reserved words.
• One person or entity may not maintain accounts to abuse, spam, or manipulate the platform.

2. Trade reporting

• Trades may be reported manually or imported from a linked brokerage via SnapTrade. Each trade is labelled with how it was reported.
• Trade dates. When reporting a manual trade you may set its date to the day the trade actually took place, including a past (back-dated) date. You may not date a trade in the future, and you are responsible for reporting accurate dates.
• Manual trades cannot be edited. Once reported, a manual trade's details are fixed. To correct one, delete it and report a new trade with the right details.
• Reported trades, holdings, and portfolios are publicly visible. Deleting a manual trade removes it from your portfolio totals but keeps a tombstone in your history for transparency.
• Brokerage-imported trades are read-only.

3. Research content

• You retain ownership of the articles and content you create, and you grant Ocufolio a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute it on the platform.
• Once an article is published it is immutable - it cannot be edited, though it can be deleted.
• You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or market-manipulative content (including "pump and dump" schemes).
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts.
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse data, or abuse our APIs beyond permitted limits.
• Upload malware or content containing scripts intended to harm other users.

5. Third-party services

Stock quotes are provided by Finnhub and brokerage connections by SnapTrade. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or actions of these third parties. Quote data may be delayed, and changes shown reflect daily movement.

6. Advertising and API usage

Ocufolio may be funded in part through advertising and paid API access. We may introduce or change such features over time.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ocufolio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for investment losses, arising from your use of the platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
